We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Transport Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily transport operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with the GDE scholar Transport Policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, plan, and coordinate all transport operations.
- Manage drivers, monitor schedules, and allocate vehicles effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and legal transport regulations.
- Monitor fuel usage, maintenance schedules, and cost efficiency.
- Address and resolve transport-related challenges promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle inspections, and incidents.
- Provide regular reports to management and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric. Qualification in Transport management or logistic. (Degree or National diploma will be an added advantage).
- No Criminal record.
- Computer literacy (MS Office and related systems).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Sound knowledge of transport regulations and fleet management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license with Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is mandatory.
